Managing your published menu

Your published menus live in your Google account: change one privately and publish when you're ready, without changing its link, or delete one you no longer need.

Choose Sign in on the home page, or open My menus, and continue with your Google account. Menu Studio uses it only to know which menus are yours.

Your menus

Each of your menus is listed with its link. Published means customers see exactly what you last published; Draft means you have changes they don't see yet.

Edit without customers seeing

Press Edit to open the menu in the same editor you built it in. Your changes save on their own as a private draft, and the top bar says Draft saved. Customers keep seeing the published menu until you publish, so you can take your time.

A price changed in the draft. Customers still see the old one until Publish.

The draft is kept on Menu Studio's server, so you can carry on from another device. To save at once, press Ctrl S (⌘S on a Mac) or choose Save now in More (⋯).

Publish your changes

Press Publish at the top right. Menu Studio checks the menu the same way as the first time, then puts your draft live. The link doesn't change, so nothing needs updating in LINE.

If something needs fixing, publishing stops and shows you where: the problems list, the currency, or your payment details. Orders placed earlier stay matched to the menu that was live when they were placed.

Change payment and delivery details

Open Settings and go to Payment & delivery to change your Bill Payment details, your delivery locations or your LINE Official Account. Like the rest of the draft, the changes reach customers when you publish.

Delete a menu

When you no longer need a menu (a test, a copy, a shop that has closed), delete it from My menus.

  1. On My menus, open the ⋯ button beside the menu's Edit and choose Delete menu….
  2. Read what happens, then choose Delete menu to confirm.
  • Customers can't open it any more: its link in LINE says the menu isn't available, and no new orders can be placed. Take the link off your rich menu and greeting message.
  • A customer who placed an order just before can still pay for it, so no one is left having paid without a confirmation.
  • It leaves your menus at once. Its orders stay on Orders and in the dashboard, marked deleted.

Tip: Changed your mind? Choose Undo on the message that appears, or Restore under Deleted menus on My menus. You have 24 hours; after that the menu is deleted for good.

Important: Six months after you delete a menu, it's erased along with its orders and their payment slips. If you need its orders, choose Export CSV on Orders before then. To have it erased sooner, email [email protected].
