Build your menu
Preview and check
See your menu the way customers will in LINE, and fix anything that would stop it from publishing.
See it as customers will
Choose Phone at the top of the editor (on a phone, Preview in the bottom bar). It shows the real ordering page customers get in LINE, updated as you type. Add dishes to the cart and place an order to walk through the whole flow; nothing is sent.
- Open in LINE
- Where customers open your menu: your LINE Official Account's chat, with the link in a greeting message and on a rich menu button. Those are yours to set up in LINE Official Account Manager; see Share it with customers.
- Menu
- What customers browse, in the language they pick.
- Payment
- The QR code to pay and the slip upload that follow Place Order. Until you've entered Bill Payment details, the QR is a labelled sample.
- LINE message
- The order confirmation that arrives in your LINE chat once the customer's payment is verified.
- Order check
- The page Check this order in that message opens: the order's real payment status, read from Menu Studio. Anyone can fake a LINE message, so tap it before handing an order over; see What you receive.
If the venue is closed right now, a banner says so. Customers would see a closed screen instead of the menu.
Fix problems before publishing
The editor checks your menu as you go. The round check mark in the top bar turns into a warning with a count when something needs fixing, such as a dish without a price. Click it to see the list, and click a problem to jump straight to it.
A menu publishes only when the list says No problems. Publishing also needs prices in Thai baht and at least one dish.
Check a menu file
Menus are saved as JSON files in an open format, so they can also come from other systems. The validator checks any such file and explains each problem in plain language, with its line number. From the editor, open More (⋯) and choose Check in validator to send your menu there.
